We’re working with a well-established law firm in Coventry to recruit a Private Client Fee Earner to join their growing team.

Whether you’re an experienced Solicitor, Legal Executive, or other fee earner, this is a rare chance to step into a role that offers genuine flexibility, strong client exposure, and the potential to shape the future of a high-performing department.

There’s no need to build from scratch; the team is already well-structured and busy.

Who we’re looking for
  • Experience across a full range of Private Client matters, including wills, probate, estate admin, LPAs, and trusts
  • Exposure to HNW or complex estates and/or agricultural work is desirable
  • Technically excellent, with a strong understanding of best practice and compliance
  • Background in a reputable firm with quality standards
  • Approachable, proactive and collaborative — a team-first mentality is key
What you’ll be doing
  • Managing a mixed private client caseload tailored to your level of experience
  • Supporting existing team members and contributing to team development
  • Potentially mentoring more junior colleagues, depending on your background
  • Collaborating closely with legal secretaries, a paralegal and a new business assistant
  • Option to grow into a managerial or Head of Department role over time
  • Playing a key part in the continued success and organic growth of the department
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary up to £65,000, depending on experience
  • Bonus scheme – 10% on billing over target (3.5x salary)
