Job summary

A social enterprise working with addiction and crime is seeking a Health Care Assistant for HMP Bronzefield. You will deliver care and support to patients within a multidisciplinary team, manage your time effectively, and uphold professional standards. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, time management abilities, and an understanding of infection control practices. This role is 37.5 hours a week, within a 12-month pilot scheme, subject to security vetting requirements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of safety and security in a prison setting.
• Enhanced DBS and HMPPS security vetting required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client centred interventions alongside Registered Nurses.
• Assist in clinical assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Support the medical team in monitoring the health and well-being of clients.

Skills

Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

Time management and organisational skills

Accurate record keeping on electronic records system
