A leading engineering staffing provider is seeking a Principal WTG Engineer in London for a long-term contract. The role involves turbine design support and collaboration with external contractors. Ideal candidates should be Chartered Engineers with experience in aeroelastic and aerodynamic design for both floating and fixed offshore wind substructures. NES Fircroft is looking for a Principal WTG Engineer to support their Offshore wind client, based in London.
This is a long term, rolling 12 month (outside IR35) contract and will require the individual to be based 3 days per week in the office.
As Principal Engineer, you will report to the Floating ILA Engineering Manager within the Offshore Wind business line, supporting all activities related to turbine design and interface with the turbine OEM.
The client is ideally looking for a Chartered Engineer, with aeroelastic / aero-dynamics design experience, on both floating & fixed offshore wind substructures.
