The role
As a Principal Systems Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Joining our Mission Systems business unit, you will be responsible for modelling and simulation across the extensive modernisation and further development of the UK MOD satellite network, known as Skynet Service Delivery Wrapper (SDW).
Day-to-day, you’ll take a detailed orientated and methodical approach to modelling and simulation across the extensive modernisation and further development of Skynet using tools such as Ansys STK.
This role is full time part time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with up to 2 days per week in the office/onsite.

Qualifications for the Principal Systems Engineer
Ideally you will hold a degree or equivalent within an Engineering Discipline however, we value difference and don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
