A leading talent acquisition consultancy is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for a 3-month contract in Basildon, UK, offering up to £70 per hour. Paying up to £70p/h (Inside IR35)

Please note - due to the nature of the work, you will need to hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UK Security clearance - please only apply if suitable

Key Responsibilities:
  • C++ software development
  • Development of new applications to meet user expectations and within formal constraints
  • Developing Windows & Linux application
Required Skillset:
  • Understanding and knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • C++ software development
  • Experience using Rhapsody
  • Development of new applications to meet user expectations and within formal constraints.
  • Familiarity with the tools and approaches to embedded development.
  • Experience with developing Windows & Linux applications.
  • Experience of using Iterative development lifecycles (for example tailored Agile.)
  • Experience using tools associated with Iterative development lifecycles (Jira / DevOps.)
  • Familiarity with development, design, and coding standards.
