Public Health Wales is looking for a dynamic principal public health practitioner who is passionate about improving health and wellbeing and reducing inequalities to work on the new and emerging programme to reduce gambling harms in Wales.
The post holder will join the Health Improvement Division, working at a national level within the drugs, alcohol and gambling team.The role will be key to enabling effective development, delivery and evaluation of public health action for improved population outcomes.Working across the system and in collaboration with partners you willlead delivery of your strategic programme/s.
You will provide specialist advice and represent Public Health Wales in national advisory groups, with a key role in maintaining and developing relationships and strategic partnerships within the wider system including the statutory, voluntary, private and independent sectors at national and local level.
