We are seeking an outstanding academic leader to join the School of Science and the Environment as Principal Lecturer in Pharmaceutics. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in the development of an innovative MPharm programme, currently at Stage 2 of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) accreditation process.

You will lead the design and delivery of the science curriculum, ensuring it is contemporary, integrated, and aligned with the GPhC’s 2021 Initial Education and Training Standards. Working closely with colleagues across science and practice disciplines, you will help shape a programme that prepares graduates for the evolving world of pharmacy.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading the development and delivery of science content across all years of the MPharm.
  • Driving the integration of science and practice within a modern, student‑centred curriculum.
  • Supporting the School’s accreditation journey through curriculum design, documentation, and engagement with the GPhC.
  • Providing academic leadership and mentoring to colleagues in pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Contributing to research and scholarly activity in pharmaceutics or pharmacy education.
