Overview

Our client, a leading consultancy in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their team in Exeter. You will be part of the Water Sector Team, providing design expertise in collaboration with major UK water companies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform technical or professional work activities to ensure delivery meets client requirements and complies with relevant standards
  • Collate plans and schedules, monitoring work to meet deadlines, company quality assurance, and other requirements
  • Liaise and engage with clients and third parties as required
  • Take a leading role in promoting health, safety, welfare, and sustainability/environmental matters in all areas of work
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Degree qualified and Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)
  • Water industry experience
  • Motivated with a positive attitude
  • Experience using CAD/Revit with a working knowledge of BIM
  • Understanding of sustainable practices
  • Experience with hydraulic calculations
