Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location:Falmer
Salary:£90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date:Immediate
Contract Type:Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you passionate about helping children succeed and grow in their learning journey? GSL Education are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to provide vital classroom support in a welcoming primary school based in Falmer.

As a Primary TA, you will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils across the classroom. Your role will help create a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in planning and delivering learning activities.
• Assist individual pupils or small groups with their learning needs.
• Help maintain classroom order and promote positive behaviour.
• Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation.
• Support pupils with additional needs as directed by the teacher.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and participation in all pupils.
• Monitor pupil progress and communicate observations to teaching staff.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a primary school or similar setting preferred.
• A friendly, patient, and approachable manner with children.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Flexible, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
