PK Education are currently working in partnership with a large number of primary schools who are seeking Primary SEND Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants for immediate starts.

We are looking for dedicated, patient, and proactive individuals to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of primary school settings.

The Role
  • Providing 1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
  • Supporting children with EHCPs across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and learning activities
  • Implementing strategies to support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working in UK primary schools (essential)
  • Experience supporting children with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD)
  • Team Teach training is highly desirable
  • Confident managing behaviour and supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments
  • Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
