Location: Macclesfield
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: 3 Months (Temporary)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Macclesfield. This is a short-term role covering the spring term, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for young learners.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil development.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to meet individual learning needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to school reports and parent communication.
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 pupils.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
