Up to £500 per week

About the Position

Connex Education is partnering with an outstanding mainstream primary school located in Skelton seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. This full-time position covers all year groups from nursery through to year 6.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting classroom teachers and providing targeted support to pupils across their educational journey.

Position Requirements

This is a full-time role running Monday through Friday, requiring complete availability during school hours. The position offers an immediate start with ongoing opportunities for the successful candidate. Essential requirement: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification minimum.

Essential Criteria

• HLTA qualification required – Must hold Higher Level Teaching Assistant status
• Relevant experience in primary education, nursery settings, or healthcare environments
• Group management skills – Comfortable leading and supporting small groups of children
• Specialized knowledge – Strong understanding of Additional Needs and EYFS Curriculum requirements
• Background clearance – Current DBS on update service or willingness to obtain new clearance through Connex
