Job description
KS2 Primary Teacher

Location: Redbridge, London

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Start: January 2026

Salary: M1 – UP6 per day, based on experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 teacher to join our team. This full‑time role works 5 days a week, starting ASAP, with the possibility of a trial day before the summer break.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and supports academic and personal development.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set targets to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings to share best practices and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
  • Establish effective communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour.
  • Implement appropriate behaviour‑management strategies to create a safe and respectful classroom environment.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a KS2 setting.
  • A passion for primary education and a commitment to providing high‑quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
