Job summary

A major healthcare organization in Scotland is looking for a qualified pharmacist to work with GPs and community teams to enhance medicines management. The ideal candidate will have a Masters in Pharmacy, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and have experience in primary care. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work autonomously. Key responsibilities include medication reviews and supporting safe prescribing practices.

Qualifications

  • Independent prescriber or working towards this qualification.
  • Significant post-registration experience required.
  • Experience of working with primary care teams preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Improve medicines management and deliver patient care.
  • Support delivery of pharmacotherapy services.
  • Conduct medication reviews and improve prescribing safety.
