A healthcare provider in Wokingham is seeking an experienced primary care nurse or paramedic for a 12-month Primary Care Transition Programme leading to an autonomous Urgent Care Practitioner role. Candidates will provide clinical care for minor illnesses and injuries, while developing skills in diagnostics and emergency management within a supportive multidisciplinary team. St Mary's Urgent Treatment Centre in central Portsmouth is a modern, GP‑led service seeing around 6,000 patients a month. We are offering an experienced primary care nurse or paramedic the opportunity to join our team through a 12‑month Primary Care Transition Programme, leading into an autonomous Urgent Care Practitioner role. This programme will develop your competency in minor illness and minor injury care under structured training, supervision and in‑practice learning.
You'll spend the majority of your week delivering high‑quality clinical care to patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries, while dedicating protected time to:
