We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Brinsford, a Prison and YOI for men located in Wolverhampton.

Hours

The site currently offers shift patterns throughout the week - 12 hour shifts covering 3/4 days a week. Nights required. Part time considered.

Salary

This position is full time; you’ll receive an annual salary between £33,232 - £40,211 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:

  • Be an integral part of the healthcare team at Brinsford by bringing your clinical skills and passion for care.
  • You could be involved in anything from developing and leading clinics, undertaking examinations and tests, as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency.
  • Within this role, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions.
