Pricing Analyst / Senior - Insurance- Manchester based role, hybrid working 2-3 days

Our client is going through a transformation and their Pricing & Analytics team is growing as they invest in new tools, technology and talent. They are looking for motivated Pricing Analysts at all levels to help deliver smarter pricing, improve customer value and support sustainable business growth.

In this role, you will work on innovative pricing projects, using data and analytics to optimise risk, understand customer behaviour, and strengthen their competitive position. You will be building models, optimising processes and collaborate with stakeholders across the business, playing a key part in shaping their pricing strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Support and deliver value-adding price optimisations
  • Analyse customer response to price changes using impact and scenario modelling
  • Improve customer lifetime value outcomes
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis
  • Ensure fair value is delivered for customers
  • Reconcile data, document processes and refine trading performance
  • Build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Experience in insurance pricing
  • Strong numerical skills (degree or equivalent proficiency)
  • Knowledge of risk/demand modelling and statistical techniques
  • Problem-solving ability and initiative
  • Experience with Python, SQL, R, SAS or similar tools (desirable)
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques
