The Oaks Medical Group is looking for a prescribing clerk who will manage patient prescription requestsand administrative tasks within a GP practice or clinical setting, liaisingwith patients, pharmacies, and clinicians to ensure accurate and timelyprocessing of prescriptions and medication-related queries. Key duties includeprocessing prescription requests, handling patient and pharmacy communication,inputting data into patient records, and supporting clinicians with medicationreviews and audits.

Action tasks from clinical staff regarding prescriptions
Update patient records of what has been done
Review all actions from work given in Doctors baskets

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our Non-Clinical Prescribing Team team as a Prescribing Clerk Administrator. This is a non-clinical role focused on providing vital support to the practice's prescribing processes and ensuring patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently.
This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. No prior experience in a GP practice or in prescription handling is necessary, full training will be provided.
