A national health service provider in the UK is seeking a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician for a 24-month training program. Pre-registration Trainee, Pharmacy Technician – NHS Scotland
Join NHS Scotland as a Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician and develop your career in community pharmacies, hospitals and GP practices. The SQA Diploma in Pharmacy Services is a 24‑month programme covering professional development and SVQ training at SCQF levels 7 and 8. One day per week is protected study time and trainees are expected to study an additional 4 hours each week.
Your role will be varied, learning and working with pharmacy teams in primary and secondary care, including hospitals, community pharmacies, GP practices, care homes and patients’ own homes to provide a high‑quality, patient‑focused service.
Applicants must have the essential qualifications as listed in the Person Specification. All relevant certificates must be provided. Candidates who do not state all essential qualifications will not be shortlisted.
Successful candidates will be required to achieve mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
