Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people with complex mental health needs? We’re seeking a HCPC Registered Psychologist to join a dedicated team and lead the delivery of psychological therapies across a network of therapeutic residential care homes.

? About the Role

As a key member of the therapeutic team, you will:

  • Deliver specialist psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people with severe and enduring mental health disorders, including complex trauma, learning disabilities, and autism.
  • Lead the development and implementation of psychological therapies across services.
  • Provide expert consultation, guidance, and support to non-psychologist colleagues and carers.
  • Work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to a trauma-informed, psychologically driven model of care.

? Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments using a range of tools and methods.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Deliver direct and indirect psychological interventions to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Provide specialist risk assessments and contribute to risk management planning.
  • Offer clinical supervision to trainees and assistant psychologists.
  • Contribute to service development through research, audit, and training.
