Overview

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our clinical team of GPs, Practice Nurse and Health Care Assistants at our practice on Anglesey.

We are looking for someone who has completed their practice nurse training and is ready to take on the role.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the primary healthcare team providing general medical services to the patients of the practice (see job description).
• Assess and manage the care of practice patients to include treatment, preventative care, screening & patient education.
• Recognise own training needs and work within competencies.
• Work independently to make clinical judgments and decisions.
• Reporting direct to the GPs and Practice Manager.

Details

• We are looking for between 5-9 hours per week, with flexibility if you are the right candidate but require more or fewer hours. Please indicate this clearly in your application.
• Work as part of the primary healthcare team providing general medical services to the patients of the practice.
• We are situated on the west coast of Anglesey, main site in Bodorgan with branch sites in Llanfaelog and Gaerwen.
• List size of approx 4850 patients and we dispense at all our sites.
