Practice Nurse Market Harborough 20 Hours Per Week in Leicestershire

This is an exciting opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join a friendly multi-disciplinary team in a GP surgery setting. This role offers flexible hours for 9 months, with a possibility of a permanent role. An experienced Practice Nurse with GP surgery experience is required, with up-to-date clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and offer health promotion and advice to support QOF targets and high standards of patient care.
• Carry out duties including Cytology, Spirometry, Travel Vaccines, Baby/Child/Adult immunisations, Diabetes, Asthma Reviews, Smoking Cessation, ECGs, B12 & injections and Phlebotomy, with certification to show updates are in date.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant experience and qualifications for a Practice Nurse role.
• Enhanced DBS within 1 year.
• Registered with NMC with valid PIN.
• Certification to demonstrate up-to-date practice.
