A fantastic opportunity has become available for a friendly, experienced Practice Nurse to join a supportive GP surgery in the Leicestershire area. The team is looking for someone to work around 25 hours per week, with flexibility on days to fit the right person.

This is a single-site practice with a strong community feel, a genuinely close-knit team, and a manageable workload. With no home visits, and flexibility around start and finish times, this role is ideal for someone who values a healthy work-life balance alongside professional development.

The practice is keen to hear from practice nurses with experience working within a GP surgery and happy to offer a generous salary (DOE).

Salary - Up to £24 per hour DOE + NHS pension + 5 weeks annual leave + Bank Holidays + study leave + funded training opportunities

Location - Leicestershire (Coalville area)

Your Role

Practice Nurse (approx. 25 hours per week)

Flexible working days (excluding Wednesday preferred)

No home visits

Opportunity to develop a specialist interest (respiratory, for example)

Involvement in a mix of duties:

  • Cytology
  • Vaccinations & immunisations
  • Wound care/dressings

Supported by a multi-disciplinary team including GPs, ANPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, and HCAs
