Overview

PPA Teacher - SEN

REESON Education are recruiting for a qualified SEN PPA Teacher to undertake a 2 term contract starting when schools re-open. This role will be long term supply via our agency. The role will be working in an OFSTED "Outstanding" SEN School located a short walk away from Belsize Park station in the Borough of Camden.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and sensory learning.
• Cover classes across the school for a PPA role, working with a variety of SEN needs and across the primary age groups (ages 4-11).
• Work closely with the class teacher to ensure pupils' needs are met in each lesson.
• Maintain effective behaviour management and adapt lesson plans to suit different students.
• Utilise resources in a supportive environment with a young and friendly team.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Qualified SEN PPA Teacher with a minimum of 1 year's UK teaching experience (preferred).
• Ability to provide contact details for 2 education-based referees.
• Comfortable working with children who have Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and communication needs; experience with EHC plans is desirable.
