Job description

A lovely Primary school in the heart of Waltham Forest are looking for a teacher to join their dynamic team from September. The school is easily accessible by both public transport and car and it is located in a busy area around many shops and restaurants.

The successful teacher will be covering PPA time across KS1 and KS2 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and they will be leading literacy and numeracy interventions with small groups of children on Thursdays and Fridays. You must be able to completely commit to the role as continuity is key.

The school are looking for individuals who exhibit the following:
  • Confidence in the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Have a proven track record of involvement in student’s attainment and progress
  • Demonstrate a creative and unique teaching approach whilst maintaining behavioural standards
  • Honesty and compassion
  • Willingness to engage in further training to broaden their knowledge and understanding
  • Have a valid DBS or are happy to complete one
