Qualifications

Responsibilities

AWE is currently recruiting for a Post Conduite to provide practical support within a joint French/UK team in Valduc to carry out agreed facility tasks as part of the UK/France EPURE facility team and to manage facility access.

Location - Valduc - France

Package - Up to £42,000 (dependant on skills and experience plus allowances, and relocation package to France. Please note the role will initially be based in Aldermaston prior to deployment to France)

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and apply company safety and security requirements.
  • First point of contact onsite and telephone contact for personnel within the building
  • First responder to emergency alarms and escalating in line with Emergency Response Procedures.
  • Issuing and understanding the use of local Radios for lone working and use in an emergency response.
  • General AWE/ CEA administration - Calendars, Emails (UK and shared systems), Training (UK and French)
  • Control paperwork given and archive records that are required during normal working and out of hours.
  • Control the access for all operations within a high hazard area.
  • Control the access for service providers and managing local task log - including liaising with designated WCC.
  • Control of access for contractors and visitors - issuing of temporary building and block access
  • Control of access for permanent badges holders - Both UK and French staff including access rights, areas, and timeline
  • Management of UKEO Building Access (SSG systems) - Creating, Issuing, and ensuring access aligns with the UKEO Key access.
  • Inhibitions - Sign onto permits, Apply Inhibitions, Remove Inhibitions, and archive permits on completion.
Role Requirements
  • Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for this role.
  • Candidates must be able to speak French at B1 level (Intermediate) however, training will be provided.
  • There is a possibility this role will require shift working.
