A governmental body is seeking a Police Staff Investigator PIP Level 1 to work at Southampton Central Police Station. If so we are looking for someone to join our team based at Southampton Central Police Staiton but working across the Force.
As a PIP 1 Investigator you will gather and review evidence and undertake investigations relating to volume and priority crime, to ascertain whether a person should be charged with an offence or if a person charged with an offence is guilty of that offence.
T he great thing about being part of CAIT is that there is no such thing as a typical day with every day being different. It might involve visiting children at schools, inspection of the living conditions of children, video interview of victims and interviews for suspects either in custody or under caution. No day is the same and the role also gives you the opportunity not to be stuck behind a desk but to go out and about and investigate offences thoroughly and comprehensively.

Essential:
Competent Investigator PIP1 (Applicants must have the Professionalising Investigations Programme (PIP) level 1 accreditation to be considered for this position).
