📆 3 Month Contract Position for between 15 and 20 hours per week
🌍 UK, London
💰 £26.5 per hour (£40k FTE)

What You’ll Be Doing 🎙️

Reporting to Laura Swinburne our Head of Marketing, Consumer, you’ll take ownership of launching and running Hertility’s brand new podcast, from concept through to production, promotion and growth.

As Podcast Associate, you’ll work closely with Laura to shape the show’s strategy, define the launch plan and oversee every element of execution. You’ll manage the end to end production process, organising guests, scripting, recording, editing and distribution, while ensuring each episode reflects Hertility’s brand, mission and tone of voice.

You’ll also play a key role in promoting the show across social, PR and CRM channels, pulling out powerful moments and soundbites to extend reach and spark conversation. Acting as both creative lead and project manager, you’ll ensure the podcast runs smoothly, hits deadlines and delivers meaningful impact.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing, Consumer to define the podcast launch and growth strategy.
  • Own the full podcast lifecycle, from planning, booking guests, scripting and recording, to editing and distribution.
  • Review and approve episodes, ensuring all content meets brand standards and storytelling objectives.
  • Identify and extract key soundbites, quotes, and clips for use across social, CRM, and PR channels.
  • A/B test content on social media to understand what resonates most with our audience and optimise future promotion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to manage timelines, creative assets and deliverables.
  • Develop creative concepts, episode themes and guest line-ups that align with Hertility’s mission and content pillars.
  • Oversee analytics and performance tracking, using insights to optimise content and inform future strategy.
  • Stay up to date with podcasting trends, tools and best practices to continuously enhance quality and reach.

Essential experience (please only apply if you meet the criteria below):

  • Proven experience growing a podcast, either for an in-house brand or within a podcast production studio.
  • Strong understanding of how PR, social and CRM channels can be used together to amplify reach and grow a podcast audience.
  • Detail oriented with a keen eye for reviewing and approving podcast footage, ensuring every episode meets brand and quality standards.
  • Data oriented mindset with the ability to analyse podcast and social performance metrics and make strategic optimisations.

You will be working and reporting directly to Laura Swinburne, our Head of Marketing, Consumer. Plus you’ll be working closely with the Growth team, Brand team and our Founders.

Interview Process:

  1. Initial Phone Interview
    A 15 minute conversation with a member of our Talent Team to get to know you better and answer any initial questions.
  2. Task & Discussion
    A competency based interview focused on your experience and walking through your portfolio, with Laura Swinburne Head of Marketing, Consumer and Lucy Button, our VP of Growth. This will help us understand your approach and thought process.
  3. Final Interview
    A final stage 15 minute conversation with two of our founding team.
