We are now looking for a PMO Analyst to join the Group Technology & Data (GT&D) team. This is a varied and collaborative role providing skilful and crucial support to a wide portfolio of programmes and projects across the entire organisation. As a PMO Analyst you\'ll ensure best practice and continuous improvement in demand management, resource planning, portfolio level risk and issue management, reporting, governance and financial tracking. This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic and pragmatic problem solver who is quick to build relationships with a curious and analytical approach.
Responsibilities
- Encourage best practice through ensuring GT&D teams use the defined Ways of Working (WoW) guidelines, processes and templates, helping to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
- Supporting the Head of PMO and PMO Manager in facilitating the demand management meetings, encouraging timely and accurately populated data, supporting GT&D with the onboarding of resources including engagement with recruitment agencies or professional services
- Supporting with service transition, working with the PMO team to ensure initiatives & products are planned, resourced, delivered and transitioned to Service Operations successfully.
- Ensuring facilitation of GT&D governance meetings, collating and quality assurance of input and preparing outputs following meetings, including regular GT&D project and programme status updates
- Utilising required tools for projects, resources and reporting including project management methodologies such as Waterfall/Agile and ensuring continuous improvement and best practice.
Qualifications
- Previous demonstrable experience as a PMO Analyst in a global or international organisation
- Good understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Waterfall/Agile)
- Adept at managing and analysing large volumes of data related to project finances, risks, and schedules.
- A curious mindset, demonstrating the tenacity to query, question and validate content from a multitude of sources
- Skilled at managing relationships with a collaborative and empathetic approach, facilitating project teams to work more effectively together
- Possesses a process-improvement mindset, facilitating efficient delivery whilst balancing broader, strategic goals.
