Summary
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 6 year old boy living in Gilfach Goch. My hobbies include swimming, going to the cinema, going to local parks, listening to music and people watching at soft play. I have a rare genetic mutation which means that I have learning difficulties, hearing loss and I am visually impaired. I am non-verbal and non-mobile and use a wheelchair when out and about.

I am friendly, happy and enjoy being around people.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

I am seeking a PA so that I can go out in the community.

RATE(S) OF PAY

£14.80 per hour

HOURS OF WORK
  • 3 hours (term time)
  • 6 hours (school holidays)
  • Hours to be done on the weekend (term time)
  • Flexible during school holidays.
TASKS CAN INCLUDE
  • Going out in the community
  • Going to cinema/ bowling
  • May need support with toileting if I need my nappy changed whilst out.
  • Depending on time of shift- I may need support with eating snacks.
  • Support with my independence and help build my confidence
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
  • Someone with a good sense of humour
  • Someone who is trustworthy and reliable.
  • You must be friendly, fun, sociable and patient.
  • Non-smoker
  • Must be able to drive and have own car with business class insurance
  • You must respect confidentiality.
ABOUT THE JOB

This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.

All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.

Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.

Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
