At Activate Learning, we're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Plumbing and Sustainability Teacher to help us deliver high-quality, industry-relevant training that prepares students for the future of green energy and skilled trades.

This is more than a teaching role, this is an opportunity for you to oversee the introduction of renewable energy and commercial green skills courses in our Sustainable Technology Centre at Reading College.

What do you need to be a Plumbing and Sustainability teacher at Activate Learning?

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Level 3 or above qualification in Plumbing including unvented hot water
  • Air Source Heat Pump qualification
  • Teaching or mentoring experience (with previous experience in Further Education, distance learning, or apprenticeships is desirable)
  • Industry experience within the plumbing sector
  • Educated to GCSE Level 4/C or equivalent
