Plumber / Pipefitter (Commercial / Industrial)
Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Plumber / Pipefitter to join our mechanical / building services team. This is a hands‑on role working across commercial and industrial projects. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, commissioning, and repair of pipework systems, ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan the layout and installation of pipe systems.
  • Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes and fittings using both hand tools and power tools.
  • Join pipework by welding, soldering, brazing, threading or using push‑fit / press‑fit techniques, depending on materials.
  • Install and secure supports, brackets, and hangers to hold pipe systems in place.
  • Pressure‑test systems (e.g. with water or air) to ensure integrity and detect leaks, then carry out remedial work as needed.
  • Commission and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, waste systems, gas lines, boilers, HVAC piping, or other relevant mechanical systems.
  • Inspect and repair existing pipe systems, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective and safe repairs.
