Our Plumbing Engineer

You’ll be the go-to expert keeping our luxury estate’s plumbing in peak condition—installing, maintaining, inspecting and repairing systems across both domestic and commercial spaces. From planned maintenance to rapid emergency response, you’ll safeguard comfort for guests and colleagues while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all plumbing systems
  • Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency repairs and breakdowns
  • Oversee subcontractors during installation of new equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across varied domestic and commercial systems
  • Support estate‑wide water treatment, pumps and drainage systems
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and health & safety practices
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records via our CMMS
  • Provide hands‑on support across the engineering team and wider estate operations

What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in a similar role (high‑end residential, hospitality or heritage preferred)
  • Strong fault‑finding skills with a solution‑focused mindset
  • Comfortable in confined spaces and capable of heavy lifting
  • Independent worker who can source and order parts/materials
  • Dynamic, trustworthy, polished and professional; a true team player
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to support occasional out‑of‑hours emergencies
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of renewable systems (e.g., heat pumps, solar thermal), plus Air/Ground Source Heat Pump experience.
Where you’ll be working

The Engineering Department is responsible for maintaining and safeguarding company assets, including buildings, IT infrastructure, mechanical plant, and vehicles. The team conducts scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance, and supports operational requests from guests and colleagues across the estate.
