Job description

At Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world's most innovative companies unleash their potential. From autonomous cars to life‑saving robots, our digital and software technology experts think outside the box as they provide unique R&D and engineering services across all industries. Join us for a career full of opportunities. Where you can make a difference. Where no two days are the same.

Your role

Join our PLM consulting team to help engineering and manufacturing clients design, configure, and adopt Siemens Teamcenter for better product data management, change control, and digital continuity. You'll focus on functional consulting, capturing business processes, shaping PLM solutions, configuring Teamcenter (no heavy coding), and driving user adoption to deliver measurable business outcomes. Experience with NX and CAD‑PLM integration is a plus.

  • Design and configure Teamcenter workflows, lifecycles, and data structures to support controlled, auditable processes.
  • Guide testing, migration, and go‑live activities while enabling user adoption through training and governance.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in data quality, compliance, and cycle time reduction across the digital thread.
Your profile

We're looking for an experienced PLM consultant with strong Siemens Teamcenter expertise and a proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end implementations. You'll bring hands‑on configuration skills, practical exposure to NX, and the ability to translate complex engineering processes into robust PLM solutions. Strong consulting capabilities and stakeholder engagement are essential, with experience across regulated, engineering‑led environments highly desirable.

  • 5+ years in PLM consulting with deep Teamcenter functional experience across multiple projects.
  • Hands‑on configuration of core Teamcenter modules (BOM/Product Structures, Workflow, Change/Release, Active Workspace).
  • Practical exposure to NX and CAD‑PLM integration for assemblies and release governance.
  • Full lifecycle delivery experience: discovery, design, configuration, testing, migration, go‑live, and adoption.
  • Strong consulting skills: process mapping, stakeholder management, and value articulation.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter integrations (ERP/MES), classification, reporting, and permissions modeling.
  • Awareness of BMIDE and data model concepts (read/understand models, not necessarily develop).
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe delivery and engineering‑led programs.
  • Sector exposure in Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Rail, or Energy.
What you'll love about working here
  • Hybrid working
  • Possibility to work up to 45 days per year from abroad
  • Open access to digital learning platforms
  • Active employee networks promoting diversity, equity and inclusion like OutFront, CapAbility or Women@Capgemini
