Platform Engineer – Hybrid - Preston

AWS, Cloud, Linux, Kubernetes, Software Development, Terraform, Ansible, Git.

This exciting and established client is looking to add a Platform Engineer to their development team based in Preston. The successful Platform Engineer will have proven experience in a similar role and your skills will include strong Linux and Cloud experience. You should have experience providing management of shared infrastructure and contributing to the design of multi-tenancy systems.

Core skills required

• Excellent working knowledge of Linux systems
• Excellent experience working with cloud providers
• Experience of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of software development
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Understanding of version control using Git
• Managing several projects and prioritising demands
• Self‑managing workload and continually meeting agreed deadlines
