Job description

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established structural steel fabrication company in their search for a Plater to work in Bromborough.

Job Role: The Plater will be fabricating structural steel components, ensuring all work is carried out to engineering drawings. Duties include reading and interpreting technical drawings, marking out materials accurately and cutting steel to required specifications. The role also involves ensuring all fabrication meets quality standards within required timescales.

• Pay: Up to £20 per hour PAYE
• Hours of Work: 8AM to 4:30PM Mon - Thurs, 3:30PM finish on Friday
• Duration: Temp to Perm position
• Overtime Rules: OT available at x1.5 & x2 on Sundays
• Plating/heavy fabrication of structural steel components
• Working from technical/engineering drawings
• Oxy–fuel gas cutting & hand grinding

Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding
