A leading media agency in London is seeking a Planning Manager to lead strategic media planning across multiple brands. You will coach junior members, ensure integrated campaigns, and maintain client standards in a supportive environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong strategic expertise, a commercial mindset, and excellent communication skills. Enjoy a hybrid working model and opportunities for professional growth.
We are looking to expand our team with a Planning Manager. Planning is a huge part of PHD’s DNA, and you’ll be learning from some of the best minds in media. You’ll work on 3 amazing brands across categories: The Guardian (PHD UK’s founding client), KP Snacks (including Hula Hoops, Pop Chips, and McCoys), and a global client, HSBC, with a focus on acquisition and integration into broader campaigns. This is a chance to flex your knowledge across verticals and to grow through cross-learning.
You’ll also play a key role in coaching junior team members, contributing to cross-agency integration, and maintaining high standards in everything you deliver. You’ll bring strategic media planning expertise, a strong understanding of client business needs, and a commercial mindset to ensure campaigns are both effective and profitable. At PHD, you’ll have the freedom to challenge the norm, contribute to award-winning work, and grow your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
PHD is a growth-focused media agency driven by innovation and creativity.
Founded in London in 1990, we were the first media agency to offer strategic and creative planning at a time when the industry was focused on buying cheaply and quickly.
Our founders envisioned a future where smart thinking and clever planning would help brands grow faster than their competitors. We have continued to evolve with a commitment to thought leadership and to adapting our capability in line with changes in media, data, technology, commerce, society, and legislation.
Today, with over 100 offices in 74 countries, we create campaigns that drive growth using data and technology.
At Omnicom Media Group, we support flexibility for our people while fostering collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two days remote) and standard hours from 9:30–17:30, with core hours 10:30–16:30 to provide flexibility. You can start earlier or later as long as core hours are met. We encourage open conversations to support high-need periods and individual circumstances, aiming to create an environment where people can do their best in their careers and personal lives.
Be Your Best — we’re committed to supporting your recruitment process and making adjustments as needed. If you have specific requirements, discuss them with our Talent Team or email beyourbest@omnicommediagroup.com to let us know how we can assist.
At OMG, our vision is to be an agency where difference is valued and everyone thrives in a culture of equality, inclusion, and belonging. We are committed to an inclusive environment that reflects today’s society, where diverse voices and backgrounds are valued, heard, and represented.
