The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 3+ PQE Planning Solicitor to join a highly regarded national planning team. The team acts for a broad and varied client base including residential and mixed use developers, corporate occupiers, contractors, charities, investors, funders, the NHS, local authorities and Government bodies. The successful candidate will provide strategic and tactical advice on securing planning permission, draft and negotiate statutory agreements, undertake due diligence in relation to real estate planning, handling corporate transactions and advise on special protection areas. The candidate should have a good knowledge on EIA, CIL and GLA planning.

The Candidate

As a successful candidate, you will be working closely with senior members of the firm as well as developing your own caseload. You will be expected to engage in marketing activities, business development and encouraged to develop internal/external contacts. Extensive experience in planning matters such as planning led regeneration projects, judicial review, appeals and planning committee presentation is required. The ideal candidate will have exceptional technical expertise and analytical skills, with a track record of successful practice development.
