As a Planner, you will be working in a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community. This local contract covers Redbridge council within the social housing sector.

A Planner within our Dartford branch. Your responsibilities include admin duties, WIP management, handling calls and emails, raising repairs, planning works, ensuring operatives have a full diary of jobs daily, liaising with operatives and sub-contractors, and planning follow-up work, including re-visits to sites.

  • Taking calls from clients
  • Taking calls from residents
  • Confirming materials with operatives to ensure job completion
  • Reviewing emergencies to ensure they are addressed by the out-of-hours team
  • Booking operatives' diaries at least 2 weeks in advance

Role Criteria:

  • Previous planning experience
  • Diary management skills
  • Building maintenance knowledge
  • Call centre experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with computerised systems
  • Strong written, verbal, questioning, and interpersonal skills

All roles require entitlement to work in the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.

Candidates must pass relevant DBS/Security checks before employment begins.
