A prominent NHS Trust in the United Kingdom is looking for an individual to train and supervise registered nurses and nursing associates. The role requires proactive support in recruitment, maintaining training records, and ensuring high-quality care for patients. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day training and supervision of registered nurses and registered nursing associates, as well as the onboarding, induction, orientation and training of new starters.
It is essential that the post holder exercises initiative and judgement using acquired skills and knowledge, maintaining confidentiality at all times. The post holder will provide an empathic and sensitive point of contact for colleagues.
The post holder will be required to work with minimal supervision and have the ability to work under extreme pressure, and be able to exercise sound judgement and decision making skills.
The post holder is expected to be proactive in terms of keeping themselves fully up to date and briefed on trust policies and performance targets.
Cross covering members of the team will also be expected during busy periods and to cover absence.
