Placement Broker / Relationship Manager – Leeds City Centre

This is an excellent role which should appeal to commercial brokers or account handlers looking for something a little different where you can put your commercial insurance knowledge and “people skills” to good use.

In this role you will be managing a portfolio of member brokers, providing wholesale broking assistance on unusual or difficult to place commercial risks. Using your access to specialist markets, schemes and Lloyds of London you will be assisting your brokers in growing their accounts and keeping in regular contact to ensure they are aware of any new products / schemes or markets in which they can place risks.

Our client has modern and appealing offices conveniently located in Leeds City centre, providing aprofessional and enjoyable working environment. Having gone through a few changes and a recent reshuffle, numerous brand new roles have become available.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial insurance experience either gained in a broker or insurer environment; you will be smart, professional and a strong communicator who enjoys plenty of client contact.

This role is likely to require you to travel to London once a month to meet up with various Lloyds of London underwriting partners.
