A leading fuel storage company is looking for a Pipeline Operations Supervisor to oversee operations and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring their experience in high-hazard environments, knowledge of industry regulations, and exceptional problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include managing budgets, overseeing compliance, and leading a team in a remote working environment. Provide leadership and oversight of Pipeline Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to ensure safe, efficient system performance in line with company standards. Act as deputy for the Pipeline Manager, manage Control Centre operations and Pipeline Specialists, and serve as a key stakeholder for projects including SCADA, integrity, and diversions. Oversee budgets, safe systems of work, and permit approvals; support improvement initiatives and on-call duty management. Ensure right-of-way maintenance, defect resolution, and compliance with industry standards. Maintain up-to-date O&M procedures, monitor competency and training, and deliver accurate monthly reporting.
The successful candidate will have a valid driving licence, strong math and English skills, and a NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualification. They should bring extensive experience in high-hazard environments, pipeline and bulk fuel terminal operations, and knowledge of COMAH and PSR regulations. Proficiency in SCADA/DCS systems, risk assessment, and MS Office is essential, along with strong problem-solving, supervisory, training delivery, and budget management skills. The role requires flexibility for occasional travel and night/weekend work.
