Job description

Overview

Job Title: Pipe Welders - OVERTIME - Premium Rates. Premium rates available - excellent pay based on skill level. We are looking for 12 confident Pipe Welders to join a major project in Slough.

Overtime

• Up to 11.5 hours per day during the week
• Saturdays and Sundays available
• Additional enhanced overtime rates at weekends

Work details

• Welding process: Fronius - Carbon MIG
• Drawings: Fabrication from isometric drawings (assemblies put together on rollers in the workshop)
• Work mix: Approximately 95% rolled butt welds, with some flanges 65 mm and above
• Fabrication and assembly: Flanges, bends, tees and branches
• Weld types: Fillet welds on flanges, butt welds on bends, and weld sockets
• Techniques: Dip, Dip Root, Synergic Pulse caps
• Weld test: 4-inch and 6-inch rolled butt, plus 4-inch and 6-inch slip-on flanges
• This role is for carbon steel MIG welders. We will also keep details on record for stainless TIG welders for future requirements.
