Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider in Greater London seeks an IAM Specialist to design, implement, and manage identity and access management solutions using PingOne AIC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IAM, particularly with integration and automation, as well as strong development skills in Java, JavaScript, or Groovy. This role requires expertise in securing scalable and reliable identity systems across multiple environments, with some in-office presence every two weeks.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of IT experience with 3-5+ years hands-on IAM experience.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Groovy.
• Prior experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.

Design, implement, and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions using PingOne AIC. Ensure end-to-end secure, scalable, and reliable identity systems integration across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Setup & Deployment

• Install, configure, deploy PingOne AIC (Cloud).
• Automate deployments and configurations using tools fr-config

Custom Workflows & Policies

• Develop custom authentication and authorization workflows using Java, JavaScript, or Groovy.
• Implement SSO, MFA, and federation using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.

Directory & Integration Management

• Configure and integrate with LDAP or Active Directory.
• Build integrations for web, mobile, API, and SaaS applications; work with RESTful APIs.

Essential Skills & Experience

IAM Expertise

• Hands‑on with PingOne AIC.
• Strong understanding of SSO, federation protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC).

Technical Proficiency

• Development experience in Java, JavaScript, and/or Groovy.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools: Azure, Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD practices.
• Excellent Postman skills, and ability to automate and implement collections

System Integration & Automation

• Solid background in LDAP/Active Directory integration.
• Automation of deployment/configuration crucial for scalable solutions.

Operational & Monitoring Capabilities

• Experience in IAM environment management, including health checks, logging, patching.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving integration issues.

Agile & Collaboration

• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Effective communication with both technical stakeholders and end-users.

Desirable Skills

• Familiar with PingOne IG (Identity Governance).
• Knowledge of compliance, regulatory standards, and zero‑trust security frameworks.

Typical Qualifications

• Overall 9+ Years of IT experience
• 3‑5+ years of hands‑on IAM experience, especially with PingOne AIC and ForgeRock.
• Strong Scripting/programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Groovy.
• Prior experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
