Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our established team of skilled Physiotherapy Technical Instructors. You will be working with our highly specialised teams of physiotherapists to deliver excellent rehabilitation care for our patient community, across our acute and community sites.

Responsibilities

You will be part of our busy MSK department, supporting our specialist physiotherapists to provide both clinical excellence and outstanding patient care in line with the Trust values. Your key tasks include:

  • Delivering specialist exercise programmes for the management of osteoarthritis of the hip and knee and post‑operative rehabilitation protocols.
  • Providing PTI‑specific in‑service training and supervision to staff.
  • Collecting and analysing data on patient outcomes to evaluate the effectiveness of our programmes and support service innovation.
  • Traveling between MSK sites to support training and the delivery of our rehabilitation programmes.
  • Assisting with service audit, equipment upkeep and supporting students and the wider team as required.
Qualifications

Qualified physiotherapist with core skills in exercise rehabilitation and the ability to use IT for data collection and presentation.
