A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to assist the physiotherapy team for children in a London school. The role requires organizing therapy sessions, managing equipment, and supporting the assessment and treatment of children. An exciting opportunity to work with children within the Children's physiotherapy team for Redbridge as a Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner supporting the specialist physiotherapist leading on the EHCP provision for children attending a Redbridge Mainstream School.
To assist in assessment and treatment of physiotherapy alongside the senior physiotherapist.
To order, monitor, manage, track record keeping/admin on EHCP provision and report writing.
To order, monitor, record, manage the storage and set up of school/ community equipment.
To lead / organise / run group activity / sessions under guidance of senior physiotherapist.

Probationary Period: This post will be subject to a probationary period.
High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London: This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,714 and a maximum payment of £5,941 - per annum, pro rata for part time).
To assist the physiotherapists in providing a high standard physiotherapy service to pre-school / school aged children by supporting the therapist in the screening, planning, implementation and modification of physiotherapy programmes.
To carry out an extended assistant’s role in identified areas having completed training and successful competency training.
