Physiotherapist Locum Job in Occupational Health/MSK Team, Stockton-on-Tees, £30 Hourly, Ongoing

This role offers an hourly salary of £30, with ongoing (6 months) work available on a part-time basis for two days a week—either Monday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday, or Wednesday and Thursday. What you will do:

  • Deliver Occupational Health Physiotherapy services focused on early return to work. This includes functional assessments, evidence-based treatment, and workplace assessments.
  • Promote overall health and well-being by identifying key trigger points where support is needed, alongside providing education and guidance.
  • Lead regular health initiatives, including MOTs, gym sessions, and promoting activities such as Tough Mudders, 10K races, and park runs.
  • Conduct practical demonstrations on both the shop floor and in office environments to encourage employee engagement in health and fitness.
  • Perform accurate clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments, both in-person and remotely.
  • Provide expert advice to management regarding employees’ fitness to work and recommend necessary workplace adjustments.
  • Ensure adherence to national clinical standards for rehabilitation and best practices in occupational health.

Requirements:

  • Physiotherapy qualification.
  • PGC qualification in ergonomics.
  • Experience in MSK and ergonomics (ideally 5 years physio with 3 years in MSK).
  • Driver’s license & access to a vehicle.
