A reputable healthcare organization is seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join their Integrated Community Stroke and Neuro Rehab team. This position involves assessing and treating patients with neurological disabilities, emphasizing a patient-centered approach. The successful candidate will have opportunities for professional development, engage in service development projects, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time role with no on-call commitments, requiring weekend shifts on a rota basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled Physiotherapist to join the Integrated Community Stroke and Neuro Rehab team, within the Therapies Directorate at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. If you are passionate about rehabilitation of stroke and neurorehabilitation patients and have experience within the clinical specialty, we are looking for you to become a valued member of our team.
The team is a large integrated community team, consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, Integrated Therapy Assistants, a Dietitian and Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner, working with patients in their own homes and some community clinics.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to rotate between the Stroke, Neurorehabilitation & Acute Brain Injury pathways.
The variety of Stroke and Neuro patients we encounter daily will allow you to extend your clinical knowledge and clinical reasoning in this field of practice.
Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester, and serves the residents of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre and North Lancashire, including specialist tertiary care for Cardiac and Haematology patients.
