Physiotherapist – Adult Social Care

Location: East Sussex

Contract: Ongoing (monthly review)

Hours: 37 hours per week, full time

Rate: £35 per hour

Pertemps is currently recruiting an experienced Physiotherapist to join an Adult Social Care service in East Sussex. This is an ongoing contract with monthly reviews, offering a rewarding opportunity to work within a community-based, multidisciplinary setting.

The Role

You will be providing a high-quality physiotherapy service to adults with diverse and complex needs, working in the community as part of an inter‑professional team. The service is focused on supporting clients to regain skills, confidence, and independence, enabling them to remain living safely at home.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a clinical caseload within the community
  • Assessing clients’ needs and developing, implementing, and reviewing intervention plans
  • Working collaboratively with clients and the multidisciplinary team to facilitate safe and timely discharge planning
  • Aiming to reduce ongoing support where appropriate through effective rehabilitation
  • Contributing to person‑centred care planning with a focus on independence and safety

You will receive support and clinical guidance from a Senior Therapist.

Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Physiotherapist
  • Registered with HCPC
  • Broad post‑qualification experience, including community‑based physiotherapy
  • Full, current UK driving licence
  • Access to a vehicle with insurance covering business use
Working Arrangements
  • Primarily office‑based, with flexibility to support urgent referrals as required
  • Community‑based working as part of the role
