Pharmacy Colleague – Birmingham

Location: Perry Barr

Employment Type: Part Time, Permanent. Shift Pattern: Days, 30 Hours per week. Pay Rate: £12.60.

Overview

Our stores run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We need a Pharmacy Colleague to work a flexible schedule with weekend availability.

Responsibilities
  • Pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
  • Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
  • Promote additional pharmacy services, such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
  • Support the Pharmacist with patient services, including blood pressure checks and stop‑smoking schemes.
  • Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Collect prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries and deliver them to customers for collection.
  • Complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months and then train as a Dispensing Assistant.
